Who We Are

LWH Chartering was founded in January 2019. Utilising a combined experience of over 60 years in various roles with ship owners, operators, brokers and port agents; the founding partners aim to deliver a principle-minded, value added ship broking service.

Nicolaj brings a diverse experience background to LWH. Beginning his career with a globally recognised management trainee program for the world’s largest shipowner, Nicolaj spent 14 years in various sectors of the company, ranging from commercial to operations in SEAsia. He then moved to Singapore and joined the world’s largest shipbroking firm, where he spent 10 years focused on handysize dry cargo.

Prior to LWH, Rob spent five years in the Operation and Chartering departments of the world’s largest handysize ship owner, working across Australasia, Europe, and North America. Rob then continued his career with one of the oldest operational ship owners, where he oversaw the significant expansion of their bulk, handysize fleet.

With a shipping career spanning over 25 years, Mark Wood brings a wealth of experience as a shipbroker to LWH. Mark spent 19 years as a dry cargo, handy size shipbroker for one of the largest global shipbroking firms in their Melbourne, Hong Kong and Singapore offices. During his time in Singapore, Mark was responsible for running the handysize desk.
